I knew this was coming but I didn't expect such a monster box set! 16 dvds is an awful lot of training for your money. Though its by no means cheap. Can definitely see these being useful in the classroom, but for individual students going from 20 quid for the book to 600 for the dvd set is a big leap.

Holy cow, if I am not mistaken that is $1200 canadian... That is ridiculous.. O_O

If I am reading correctly they are only about 40 minutes in length each. That is roughly 10.5 hours of material. If my math is anywhere near right. :P

Maybe I will change my mind later, but currently that is a lot of money for only 10 hours of video. :/

But I don't think I can afford them :(

Its nice to see Richard Williams in person talking, however being able to read can save you about $190.
If i didn't own the book already, I'd think about it if it was less than 1/3 that price.

This seems to be aimed at Facilities buying multiple copies like Schools etc to aid in teaching or Big Studios to have it around so their workers can look through them... price is just to high IMO.

I'm not done with the book yet, about half way through, and have really enjoyed it. I don't think the price is anything to sneeze at, but it's that old adage, knowledge is power. I think what you're getting and who you're getting it from needs to be taken in consideration. I'm currently going through Jason Ryan's (www.jasonryananimation.com (http://www.jasonryananimation.com)) training, which is right about the same price, but again, when you consider what kind of info. you're getting, from someone in, or who has been, in the industry, it's worth it.

Long story short, price becomes more of "what you get" vs. just "how much".
