naskoo 06-09-2008, 09:54 AM So, I'm trying to load some videos from my Sony video camera and AF throws me this error.
After Effects: AEGP Plugin AAF: Error occurred while creating project

Any ideas how to fix this guys?
I'm useing AF CS3 Profesional 8.0.0.247.

simply dont use codecs that work with predictions. only I-frame based codecs work properly inside AE.
that means, convert the files to any preferrably losless codec you like.
good luck,

Convert the footage using the tools that come with the camera. Neither AVCHD nor several variable-GOP MPEG-II derivatives can be used with AE at this point.

Click on the footage, then rename and change the extension from whatever 3-letter(mpg,mts,tpj) it is to avi. It should work in AE now... then just use whatever quality it is you like to output the file.
