Title: The Minuteman
Name: Jim Rosenkranz
Country: USA
Software: Maya

This is a piece I have dubbed "The Minuteman". This is the culmination of a personal project to create a fully digital character and environment - and use them both within a composition. Portrayed is a character based off of a Colonial minuteman standing adjacent to some light woods. The large majority of the scene was done with Maya, as well as some help from Zbrush. Rendering was done with Mental Ray.
I am looking for any feedback as I feel there is much that can be improved. Thank you.

You have done the hard part of this work...All models, textures...I think the image fails in Lighting and composition...You would get to tell a story. :) Itīs just my opinion.

Nice work whatever.

this is a good start. I think the image you have in the background isnt really working with the amount of blur you have on it, It looks a bit flat. You could also add come colour to your lighting. The leaves from the tree seem to be really big also, maybe blur the forground leaves or add some motion blur . It has potential! keep it up :)
