Title: Fembot V4 Posed
Name: Rene Alex
Country: Venezuela
Software: 3ds max, mental ray, Photoshop

My Fembot, v 4.0 test bed for texture and rig techniques.

From my last post http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=440168

Now fully textured and rigged, the idea of this character was to try different deforming techniques and SSS (in the face) also I test the AD and PRO materials in 3dsmax 2008 and 2009.

The rig is just max bones and helpers (a lot of helpers) it has a pose system in the face (using wire parameters and the super cool Pen attribute holder) the arms has FK/IK, auto clavicle and wrist lock, the legs are stretchy IK. A small demo of this is posted in my portfolio.

I never plan to animate her but eventually I will, to harvest all the setup work.

Your comments and ideas are welcome.

Love the stylization on the character, but the colors are a little bland,no offense.

The only thing I dont really like about 'her' is the face(from the front)...its a little freaky.

Samuel: yes the freaky face... thats the one thing that everybody comment about, in fact I toned down several features, because it use to be MORE FREAKY! the original idea was more like a weitress from a weird anime I watch years ago, it was like a antropomorphic cat robot (!?!) this model has like 5 years, I use to add something or redo some feature each year, this year was the tex, now for the colors, it was kind of weird... she spend years with a gray clay default material... so I need to see her VERY different... so it result to be that pinkinsh mush :P

thank you all for the comments, I upload a video of her in my portfolio.
