Title: All Dolled Up (with video)
Name: Bobby Chiu
Country: Canada
Software: Sketchbook Pro

Here's a new commission I did recently for Sketchbook Pro. I've been kinda selective about jobs recently but I loved doing this one because they let me do anything I wanted! My initial idea for this piece was a dark-ish little girl with a pet creature that she "dolls up" in the way that normal girls might dress up a cat or a puppy.

Here's the interview and mini tutorial with Autodesk Sketchbook pro (http://aliasdesign.autodesk.com/learning/tutorials/details/SketchBook%20Pro%20with%20Bobby%20Chiu_133140/)

I recorded the process of the entire painting and did a time lapse while talking over top of it. This is a video podcast about my experiences as an artist and the lessons I've learned that will hopefully help other artists achieve their goals.

is a very nice work. congratz...

I saw the video... the one of the painting process and ur podcast bout points of view.

I think uīve got a point =) i mean, it is truth that everyone gets to see everything from his own point of view and that will make of the viewer an incomplete comunicator or have him make up a wrong idea of the situation (nice plane story, i was like "OMG!!! that wans't the truth??!!!"). But i think, that maybe, even if u start to think what message could be given to others considering the situation, and every different "angle" ur not considering that, maybe.. thatīs again ur position, maybe is what U would think in every different probability.. and i think.. is way to hard to get to have and extense and more human point of view just thinking... I agree with u that we (mankind :P) should become better listeners, but i think that is not realising that there are other ponits of view the thing that will let ppl become better comunicators-artists. but listening to others (as the main thing) will help us be better, cuz that way well automatically realise that there are other points of view...

anyway.... Very nice work.. u continue to impress, as always...

and... thanx for sharing ur work

HI Bobby!
Great painting man.Love how you play with the light a while before you stuck with the final lightning and pic.
Hey man, you're going deep here in your video.
Just great. You saved my mariage man!LOLLL

I just got this same kinda point of view.Loads and loads of different views of the world and the people living on them(at least trying to have different point of views) can bring you so much great materials/events in your life, art and the way you (could) see things.
THank you for sharing your point of view man!
Just super interesting.
