View Full Version : Rendering: Render to texture with Brazil?

Hi,
I have figured out how to render to texture a diffuse map and lighting map with the standard scanline renderer. What I would like to do now is render the same, but with Brazil. Unfortunately it fails. It appears to render the perspective viewport... but it certainly doesn't write any files to disk like it should. I'm using a diffuse map and lighting map. Curiously though, the lightmap and its shell material actually appears in the viewport... I even turned off the lights to check if it had worked. But where are the actual *.tga files? they are not in the specified directory.

I am using max 5... Brazil 1.0

Any ideas, or experiences? even with other renderers and the 'render to texture' option...

Howdy !

Haven't looked at the feature yet so i would not know, but isn't it supposed to work with Max's Radiosity and LightTracer only ?
Thus 3rd party renderer would not work.. ?
