I make a freelance job for architects who use Cinema 4D. Great, but usually
I use 3ds Max. My workflow is placing the dwg file and trace with snapping on
the house. I try this in C4D and the snapping option is awful.
I miss something ?

Can you describe a little better what you mean by "awful"? What exactly are you trying to do? What options do you have turned on? What problems are you having?

I mean that edge snapping in C4D is tricky.
If you put a dwg file for reference and if you want snapping a edge cube
on 1 axis in C4D, that don't work very well
Vertex snapping works well.
