does anyone know how to composite the xsi shadow pass in discreet combustion??

well, I did it in another software, but principles are mostly the same...

I think (not sure, but gonna check all of it) you will get black pictures with white color where the shadows are, and with the alpha too.

Put the layer with shadow sequence below the main layer and with the color correction make it black, not white. You can also add some blur effect to soften the shadow if ya like...
this is easiest but not the best solution.

don't know much about combustion but you should be able to easily.

Subtract the shadow pass froom your bg,
or
invert and multiply out the shadow pass from the bg
or
use the shaow pass as a matte for a colour correction on the bg
or
colour correct the bg and comp it back over the original using the shadow pass for a matte.
