This Digital painting is created by reference from the indian megazine FEMINA. Actually, this is the still of a indian film star. Started from scratch the complete painting is done freehand in photoshop CS2.

Wonderful and pretty. I'd love to see steps from sketch to finish. I might learn something good.

Thanks very much knight. Actually i hadn't done any sketching before start painting. I just start from scratch & start painting outline first to determine the shape & then i choose a particular part in the image & start painting it . now i can only show u the layered parts of this painting in PSD or TIFF file ....................

Hi Maninder,

Great work! I really like your painting. Nice loose style. The most important piece of advice I can give you for improving things on this painting would be to add a little more detail to her haid in selective places. This will really solidfy and anchor the painting. Overall, a really nice job on painting a beautiful woman within an interesting composition. I hope to see more from you.

I like the mood in this painting it's sorta dreamy like. My only crits would be that the pinky seems a bit off to me and it looks like she just got done taking a couple zanex's and washed 'em down with a bit of wine....in other words her eyes look really drugged currently.
