Is there any demo video? Some of us aren't curious enough to download an *.exe file but curious enough to want to see the video.

In fact, there is a business case associated to this demo including a video and additional info available there:

I'm always interested in real time solutions. This looks like one of those products that doesn't give a cost until you contact the company. I'm assuming this is over $5000?
That does look pretty damn good. A couple of question though, is there a refraction in there? and what's the polycount of that watch?

Venkman: to be honest, cost depends a lot of your needs. And well, feel free to contact us to get a clearer idea of how we can help you in getting high real time 3d quality
P_T: no refraction here! Polycount is about 320K triangles. And if you like statistics, there are 5 dynamic lights (at the maximum).
For all of you who would like to get in-depth information about how this demonstration were built, visit the page http://www.redway3d.com/pages/bcMarkAdv.php

Pretty cool! do you have the ability to change materials, environments and lights in the run time in realtime?
Ya know that does look pretty darn cool. I am espcially impressed by the bloom/blur effect going on.
I'd definitely love to see more samples.
I gotta say though, that this type of technology should be integrated directly into 3D design packages. There shouldn't be a need to have to go to a 3rd party to get this type of visualization.
Of course step back for a second, and you'll realize that pretty much everything shown here has been available in games for many years now.

It already is..
Autodesk AliasStudio lets you do that level of realtime rendering directly in the viewport.

And how many of us use AliasStudio? While Digital Content Creation is a small niche within the software world, automotive/industrial design software is an even smaller sub-niche. That level of visualization should have trickled down to us 3D Max/Maya folks.

I definitely agree with you ;-) And be sure that's possible! Even if we are talking about a demo, nothing has been precomputed or hard-coded. Any aspect of the scene could be edited in real time : material, meshes, animations...
For those who do not know anything about redviewer (our attempt to make our technology available to 3ds Max users), give a look at the product page there:

"your graphics hardware does not fit the demonstration requirements" :(
This would be great for standalone modelling softwares like Modo or Silo. Thing is with Silo, it'll be hard to justify the price if it's higher than Silo itself. :D

You do realize that both Max and Maya and display shaders in the viewport in realtime..
So any shader you see in this demo you can expose in Max or Maya.

hhm im not sure what i shall think about this demo..it pretty much avoids to show anything of interest....like refraction....shadowing. most games today do what can be seen in the demo. or am i missing something?

Don't take this demo for what it's not. It was made to demonstrate some of the shading capabilities of our product and how it can be used with 3dsmax as the data source in a very simple and efficient way (illustrated in the associated business case).
Therefore, it's focused on shading and shows some effects (such as the real-time glow), based on industrial design data - not video game data.
