hey all,
This is my first post here, so I'm not entirely sure if it is posted in the correct forum, if its not, I'm sorry.
I am currently working on a planet scene:

As you can see, there is (apart from all the stuff you guys will undoubtedly find noobish) one blatant wrong part about it..
The atmosphere of the earth glows all around the planet, even where there should be shade.
I have used this tutorial (http://www.revver.com/video/493360/create-planet-earth-in-3ds-studio-max-tutorial-1-of-3/) to make the planet, and apearantly the maker of this tutorial doesnt seem bothered at all by this...
My question to you all is this, how do I; either get a shadow going in the atmosphere I have, or how should I make an atmosphere the correct way?
Thanks in advance,
- Joram
