Hi everyone!

My name is Paul-Erik Trouwborst and I am in my last weeks at Animation Mentor. I'm still working on my short film, but I managed to work on my dialogue animations as well. Recently I finished one. I named it 'Oops' and you can view it here:

I recommend clicking on 'watch in high quality' for the shapest presentation.
Making this animation was a lot of fun. I hope you enjoy watching it!

Cheers!

Niiice!
I love the expressions on the wife behind the gazing window. funny as hell!
Great fluid animation. I found myself smiling throughout.

I do have some crits, hope you get it the right way -
Watch your hands! there's something painful there (especialy after - 'oops there...'), the hand is twisted too strong.
Also, I think that when the doctor on the right shoves the organ back to the patient's body, the doctor on the left should react to that, he supposed to be concerned about whats going on and you have it in the begining when he hears 'oops' and then you kinda lose that acting all the way to the end. Is it starting as a concern and then goes to fear from the other doctor?
Maybe I miss read it... cause after watching it a couple of times now it did feel ok.
Anyway, that was my first impression so Im writing these lines.

Keep it up man.
Your animation is fresh and good, doesnt have that AM feel to it, as if ive seen it before.

Cool man! Thx! And thx for the constructive comments! About the point gesture, yes, my mentor told me that last week too. Cause of the cloth simulation I wasn't able to adjust that without redoing the sim :S

Cheers!

Btw, I used Maya for the animation, cloth simulations and set and props. Shave and Haircut for the grandma's hair behind the glass. And Shake for z-depth compositing and color correction :)

Oh, and that thing on the toolcart, yes, that's a clawhammer ;)
