Hey there, first time posting here.

This is vehicle for my short film "Meridian"

Some info: This is a concept of a military vehicle around 80years in the future. It's modular in design, where different modules can be mounted on the mounting plates you see in the center of the vehicle.

The model is about 98% done, just some small stuff to add once i have aquired some more ram :) I would appreciate some crit, still willing to change things. It'll be a while before i get to texturing this, next on the list is a marine model.

Hi,

Very cool image and concepts. I'm bothered by a lack of scale continuity. It's difficult to find scale references in the vehicle. If what i'm seeing in the rear view, is a crew ladder and steps, then this thing is huge!

So, if it's that massive, what looks to be a giant crew hatch up front ,is what? Also the various rivets would be as big as dinner plates and the bolts as big as car tyres. Kinda implusable no?

The detailed "greebly" look is very impressive and as you mentioned I'm sure it's a real RAM hog.

Here is something you can use for scale :)

The rear hatch is actually suppose to be small, it's an access area for the computing components.

The larger bolts around the pilot hatch area are suppose to be larger since there mounted on a heavy armor plate. I was thinking that they might look out of place but eventually i decided that it made sense. Now i'm having 2nd thoughts again :)

Thanks for the comments...

OK, Well my eyes are off then. I was looking at the view you had linked to and saw the tiny little grab handles spaced about like ladder rungs and figured the scale was about 4x larger than you've indicated with the sillhouette.

Darn cool though! I actually like the metallic look you've got now.

Here is the most basic module, its based on metalstorm technology and will most likely be very outdated 80years from now :)

(render is a bit old)
