Hi, it is my recent illustration project, i want to show the braveness of the warrior in this battle and his spirit of "fight until die". He is ambushed by crowd of army and the only chance of survive would be fight for his life. The focus point of this painting is on the warrior, and i try to make the other army less details to show the contrast. Everything was painted in photoshop.

When I saw it as a wip I considered it being a great piece.. but now seeing these details, I'm just speechless :) awesome work! I like the light shining on the hand of that lancer (don't know if it's the right word)

This work is amazing, I got linked to this work as i browse to your portfolio from the expose 6 page, as i saw a fellow singaporean. I also go through the wip and its really inspiring.

I also happen to see that one of your saved name for the wip image is 'zilong' So if i'm not wrong you're actually doing Zhao Yun in the first place? :P haha just thought its interesting. great job man! :applause:

deric, your piece of work are always amazing, but i still like your dragon compare to this one, maybe because of the title of your illustration? maybe i'm thinking about something more furious when i saw the title, anyway..... thats just my two cent :D, nice job dude:buttrock:
