Hello, I'm working on creating a naruto style effect (e.g the fight between garra and rock lee Youtube Link (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XzeaoaqO-GQ))

Rock lee is the guy that moves fast (green clothes and big eye brows) sort of disappears, that is the effect I am having trouble to create, any ideas?

Thanks
-Pete

Try animating Direction Blur + opacity.

All riht, that works.
All right thats great I used the scanlines transitions and opacity at 50 on the last frame, I only had the scan lines active for two frames.

See video [clicky (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hC6TT3_EGq0)]

I intend to do it again but with a more planed video clip instead of me just running around randomly, and with another person then I have have diffrent angles.

Another question, what would be the best way to create the sand effect?

Thanks for all your help ^_^

@ftb: I know thats your opinion and I respect that, naruto is the most popular ninja manga in Japan, over here in UK most people just see the censored version on TV which is not as good as the un-censored version and the manga.

I shall give the Trapcode Form a go, allthough I am not too sure what it is ^_^
Thank you.
