View Full Version : Need a special Render MEL-script.
bjoern 05-20-2003, 01:55 PM Hi
I want to render Imagesequenzes that usably like Qicktime VR.
explanation:
the Camera move in any direction at the same distance form the object around it. (it must be changeable degree steps)
It didn't must be a prerenderscript.
It only has to move my Camera around my Object.
knows anyone a way or a existing script?

im not sure this is what you mean but...
do you want your camera to just move around the character while always keeping view of the character? i would just use a camera and set it on a path
animate>motion paths>attach to motion path
just set up your shape and your camera will follow it im not sure if thats what you mean. you could also turn on your camera center of interest just be looking through the camera and turn that on so its always looking at what you need it to. im sure you could parent it to like a empty node or locator so its always at that point. im not sure if this is what your looking to do ciao!

the fastest way i think in group the camera, move the pivot of the group to the center of the object that you want render and animate the rotationY of the group fro 0 to 360 and render from the frame of the first key to the last key -1

you dont need a script, you just need some keyframes on a double grouped camera with pivot in the object center..
cheers

nop, this is impossiple without a script.
i need 100% exectly degree steps
around the opject. And not in one axis,
i need it in any direction. In combination of all axis.
The result is an dynamic Flashmovie( witch works like QuicktimeVR)
ideas :)
