CGTalk - mpeg1 for ae 5.5?

hy
do you any know about a mpeg1 codec for ae 5.5-that i can realy
render the shot from ae with this plugin/codec?
is there such a thing?:hmm: :hmm:

MPEG is not a codec, you'll have to render to .avi or .mov and use an MPEG encoder (just like you might do to create mp3's). Unlike QT and AVI which are free to encode, MPEG must be licensed for use, in fact it's more similar to RealMedia in that respect.

i just thoght that there is one like the premier 6.5 dose,
