Hi,

Here is a preliminary version of free tutorials on writing a raytracer, rendering & shading techniques from Jean-Colas Prunier (Weta Digital, ILM,etc...).
The first lesson is now available with source code to download!

That looks hilariously useful. Do us a huge favour while you're at it and add the link to this thread (http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?f=109&t=146400) in "graphics programming". I don't want to steal the credit for this find and it will be very useful given the number of people who ask about this kind of thing. :thumbsup:

This is really excellent tutorial...Always I want to understand how CG programs work, what are the underlying ideas they are built upon.
