View Full Version : Cintiq 21UX - now $1999
Rhs_CG 05-29-2008, 03:28 PM Wacom has lowered the price of the 21UX from $2499 to $1999. Doesn't look like the 20wsx is coming down; could they be clearing inventory for a new, larger display?

Definitely something bigger is coming. It is not like wacom to drop prices.

I was hoping for something with at least roughly the same screen size, but thinner and lighter overall.
A nice thin cable would be nice too, for a degree of portability.
I love my Cintiq, but it's friggin' ginormous.
Most days, I Couldn't get by without it, though.

this was supposed to be released on the 20th but after a brief search today, couldn't find any more info. Anyone else find more details about it? release date for starters!

Agreed, and I even have the baby Cintiq! I had hoped it would allow me to get away from the desk to work on paintings (plugged into a laptop), but there are so many wires and the converter box and all that it's pretty unwieldy to set up for portable use. Though I suppose large Cintiq owners would love the thinner form factor of the 12", if it were bumped up to 20". Oh well, back to the desk. :argh:
