View Full Version : Animation : Shape of Evil
ed209 05-20-2003, 03:26 AM Posted this awhile ago on CG-Char but thought I'd get a bit of feedback here as well. Just a little animation test I did about a month or so ago with a character I downloaded. Nothing special, just a fun little acting clip. Enjoy and feel free to tell me what you hate about it.

LOL
Great stuff :)
Nice reference aswell.
tell me what you hate about it.
Now that's a little harsh.
Maybe the poiting of the finger in the end of the clip doesn't quite match the voice. - that's it :)

I agree about the pointing. Like the energy of the character didn't rise with the voice enough. Looks good overall though! :)

Ya your right about the the rise and fall of the character Chris, I could have totally pushed it more for the dialogue. I was actually worried that I had already taken it too far, but now that I look at it more, I can see the area's that I could have done this more.
Thanks for the input. ;)

It's a little bit TOO bouncy I think, especially during the slide he does from one side of the cube to the other, his head is almost at the height of his waist at that point.

Ya...I really dragged it at that point. You'll notice that the neck stretches alot as well. Thought it would be funny little movement, do you think I should be leading with the head instead?

hey that looks great! I enjoy the bounce of it, though I agree the pointing at the end is a little late. I like the neck stretch, its funny, something is a little jarring on it though, maybe it hits the pose too sharp, maybe more of an arch on the action would help. great stuff , I reallly like the energetic stlye you created.:)
