Jim Hill RUMOR: CG Dumbo 2

I hope not! Dumbo is my favorite Disney movie and it's perfect the way it is. I hope they don't do anything to screw it up :cry:

man you wonder why Disney is doing so poorly financially, they already had Teasers for dumbo 2 out on some DVD's and then pulled the project, now they are doing it CG Oi what is that company doing. Its not the classical animation that costs too much its the indecision.

I know Dumbo 2 will suck, have any of the sequals been that good, Return to neverland had the highest quality animation of the bunch, but its was severly inconsitent from when they removed if from disney canada part way in production.

So why shouldn't they do it in 3D? The quality of the animation and the story are what will sell it as Disney. Don't start raising the torches & pitchforks just yet. With all of the shader & lighting innovations popping up, there's a good chance whatever they create will be beautiful.

First of all why do a sequel, have you watched a disney sequel, they are horrendous, fact si the only reason is they are cheap and sell a lot of videos, and don't say kids can't tell the difference, my niece hates the tarzan sequel because its so "ugly" but tarzan is her favourite disney film.


Second why do a sequel to a CLASSICALLY animated film in 3D? It just doesnt' make sense.

but rescuers was much like Return to neverland, done for feature so its was a better quality production. YOur right though that was was very well animated, beatiful painting and pretty good story.
