Since I too don´t like not getting crits I`m gonna do one here, :). But please people give crits to everyone! Including me, hehe.

Well, I gotta say when I saw the frist image I thought you weren't getting nowhere, but on the second images it´s clear you noticed your faults.

Although I´m more of a character guy, I think you can make a good landscape there. In technical terms the composition is ok, your skill can get better but it´s good. I noticed on your portfolio that your landscapes are good but not professional enough. You need to work on your details, they pretty much tell me what brushes you used, and that´s not good, it must look like... how did that guy managed to do that? You know what I mean? right now it´s a bit amateaur. If you look at those guy making those astonishingly great landscapes, you´ll noticed they sometimes manage to nail great effects and realism with very simple techniques and effects. Since I don´t do landscapes yet, I can´t tell how they do it, I do have a pretty good idea though.

Look at tutorials, your image is good, keep working on it, and push yourself.

One last thing. You also need to make images that take people´s breath away. This is just a fortress sitting there.

I advice you look at movies like the lord of the rings and such, those incredible shots of cities and fortresses will give you a good idea of how you can make a greater impact with your images...
