We just got Thinking Particles a couple of weeks ago. Although havent had much time to play with it properly, been reading the help file and going through all the scene files included. Although the concept isnt at all alien, it is a big step from PFlow, in terms of what it has to offer. I would like to hear from u guys, how u got around to learn it. What resources are out there, apart from CGFluids.

Cheers.

well if cgfluids is not enough information for you, then I don't know where is...
Cebas has also a forum with some informations.

Actually to get the head away from pflow, try to think as would you set up a script.
your nodes out and inputs are variables, and the lines are operators. and the dynamic sets are forloops with functions.

Hello Grury,

In addition to the manual and the 250+ demo scenes, please do look and ask questions on our forum and cgfluids.

On our forum you will also find 3+ hours of video training/demos stickied at the top of the TP forum. We have a ton more of these on the way too!

Thanks

Cheers guys.
Hey Michael, thanks for that, I was wondering where those 3+ hours of video were, after I saw it mentioned on your site. Great stuff.

@CapitanRed: I wasnt saying that there wasnt enough stuff at CGFluid, I mentioned it cos was the only resource I had found..obviously I could have googled it and do my own search, but just thought was a good idea to start some TP discussion here, as there doesnt seem to be many threads on CGTalk about the matter.

Thanks
