View Full Version : The XSI Toon Shader
Apoclypse 05-19-2003, 05:33 PM I have question regarding the xsi toon shader. I want to know if you have to do anyhing specific in-order to get pronounced edges ( such as a jaw -line) Also I was wondering if any one has tutorial out there or some tips on how to get decent results with the shader.

You would need to add the toon material to your object then add the Toon Ink Lens shader to the camera and adjust the settings to get the look that you need.
Ed Harriss has a couple of toon tutorials listed below
http://www.edharriss.com/tutorials/tutorials_materials_xsi.html
Michael Arias the creator of the toon shader
http://www.catsuka.com/interf/morimoto/tech/tech3.htm
and last but not least
Chapter 16 - From the Shaders, Lights, and Cameras manual
Toon and Non-Photoreal Effects
Hope this helps.
