here's my latest using a really cheap-piece-of-junk $49 tablet and photoshop. can't wait till i save enuff for a really good wacom.

painted in several layers, this took about 5-7 hours total (including all the screw-ups and concepts). still isn't 100% to my liking, but it'll do for now...

feedback warmly welcomed as usual... thanks!

*begin rant-

The price of the tool doesn't matter as much as the talent of the artist. I've seen great works done in pencil, better than some people with a 5k computer, so never EVER blame the tools, unless they are bluescreening on you :D fortunately traditional media doesn't have that problem...

*end rant-

as for your pic it's looking really good. the main problem i have is that the head is shown in 3/4 view which is nice, but all her facial features are looking at me dead on center, so unless she's got the ability to move her face over :D, you may want to rework what you have. take and move her eyes/nose/mouth over to the left, and just skew them a bit, this will really help this pic out a ton. As for skin tones, they look pretty good. I would take and smooth out the pinkish/reddish areas on her body some more though, they are pretty sharp as is.

Keep it up you're almost there

u know though she's really famous for her body, maybe you should paint the rest of her body. just a thought.

:p
