This one has been driving me CRAZY since I bought Maya. If anyone knows a way around this defect I'd LOVE to hear it. I'm also hoping this was fixed in Maya 5 (needless to say I'm a bit pissed at AW for never once posting a patch for Maya 4.5)
When I select a group of keys, in either the Graph Editor or the Dope Sheet, and then move the keys...how do I UNSELECT the keys? The defect that I hate is that the only way I know of to DESELECT the set of keys is to click the mouse in a blank area of the graph editor. If I do this however, all of the keys converge onto one location. My character gets EXTREMELY warped. All I have to do at this point is CTRL-Z, to undo, and the keys go back to their correct locations, and all of them are UNSELECTED, but it is an annoying step I always have to take. Move keys, click, ctrl-z...more some other keys, click...ctrl-z.
Is there a better (correct) way?
