i'm using 8.5 64-bit; is there a way in MRfM to get shadows from the physicalSun to affect one object exclusively but not another. to clarify: a shadow casting object above two surfaces needs to cast onto only one, *however* the non-receiving object still needs to receive shadows from other objects and from the same light, so disabling "receiveShadows" on the Shape node won't help here because it disables all shadows on the object.....
this is a massive scene using only one light (physicalSun), so i don't really want to get into comping seperate passes just for this... is there a way to solve this...? any help much apprec. :)
