Hi all, The above link is my animation entry to the "What Matters to You - Vancouver Film School / YouTube Scholarship Competition".
I am the Director and responsible for all the animation part. The whole animation takes about 5 weeks to finish (due to time restriction, deadline).
For Modeling , some assets built in about 2003 due to production time is short. and New assets are built for a new storyline. Most models are built using Lightwave and Transfer to Softimage XSI for texturing, animation and rendering.
Texturing, - I use the Toon Shader in the Softimage XSI for the 2D toon shade work with post production to create some effects like the Animatix.
And of course, animation and rendering is done in Softimage XSI.

Well, unfortunately this animation didn't make it to the top10 or even top 20, that didn't deserved a public voting and so I lost the chance to win the scholarship.
The fact is no fully-animated entry in the competition is worth a place in top 10 http://www.xsibase.com/forum/YaBBImages/angry.gif
Just hope that your guys and gals still enjoy this animation.
