View Full Version : Unwrap UVW issues

Hi there!

I`m experiencing a little problem with the Unwrap UVW modifier.
.
I switched to flatten mapping for a rather simple modell and moved
the elements around a little to match the underlying texture.
But everytime I want to quickrender everything the view just
flips back to normal mapping and the whole tweaking is lost.
I tried to save the uvw but it didn`t had any effect.
.
What am I doing wrong? (;

What does the object's stack look like? To minimize the chances of anything weird going on, make sure there are only two items in the queue, the base eMesh/ePoly, and the UVW Unwrap modifier.

Once you've done the tweaks, try and collapse the whole thing back down to a eMesh/ePoly, the UV properties are supposed to be "baked" into the mesh.

Does any of that do anything?

This was indeed really helpful. After collapsing the mesh
everything worked. The "baking"-process works great, too.
