CGTalk - Lost a UV function

I was doing some random reading yesterday and I lost the function that I was interested in. Silly me didn't write it down or mark it.

I remember that you put in a U coord, a V coord, and a threshhold - all floats. MS will then return a list of verts in the given UV area. I've been going nuts trying to find it again. (Or maybe I am nuts and didn't read what I thought I read.)

Any idea what the function is?
