Hey folks

Thought I'd throw up a few renders of the three characters starring in my upcoming short, "Ele Phantis". They've all had some pretty hefty photshop treatment, it's part of a "look" I'm trying to achieve for my reel
There's link to a hi-res version after each pic. I'd love to here what you guys think of the look - any coments and crits greatly appreciated!

Are they rendered like this or is it a photoshop filter?

Very interesting. Are you going to composit the whole short with this filter? If so, it should look very original.

I like the second one more than the other two. I think it's the stong outline around the head, and the colors work very well too.

Goood!
Very strong and personnal graphic style. Few colors, strong expression of the characters and ambience ... I'm curious to see the short.

Keep working like this

hey guys

thanks for the kind works - I'm starting to dig this style of renders a lot more, now. I've got an action that I cooked up in photoshop that does a few adjustments and filters to get somethin close to this (these ones have been individually tweaked) that can be applied to frame sequences.

Couple more renders...

Weeee!!
Those filters are fun!

I like the one with the fly guy.
Maybe you could post a short sequence so we can see the filter in action.
Im curios to see it in motion.

Yayy
