Hey Folks

I am new to AF ....I am using the version 6.0
Its just too annoying for me to hear the Chimes sound at the end of the each render, when it completes ..is there any way to shut it down or .....make it not been on ma ear all the time...
thanks in advance....

Dig into your prefs file. There's an option for it (play render sound or something like that)...

Go to your:
C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Adobe\After Effects\6.0
folder and put in a blank rnd_okay.wav file. The wav file could be anything but if you want it to sound like nothing just rename a text file to that. AE will play that wav file instead of the chime.

If you don't find a wav file in there it's because you haven't specified a custom sound for AE to play. If you put one in there then AE will play that instead of the chime.
