looks like he has some of the basics down... shading is gettin' there... encourage him to draw more and more and more. he can only get better with time... so far it's a good start, but if he wants to be able to keep up with the rest of the students in art school, he'll need more practice, otherwise he might get discouraged and become a lawyer...

for 3D stuff... if u don't have access to 3D software, it's a good idea to start learning how to draft on paper... without the basic understanding of drafting, he's gonna be really lost... they'll probably teach it in school, but why not get a head start =)

i wasn't allowed to draw when i was young at least not encouraged :surprised so only seriously took it up when i got a bit older, one advice though. You should really be doing what you like with ur life, I totally regret spending two years as an engineer and not attending art school.
So, it's great to see you caring for your bro and encourage him to post more here for feedbacks. Obviously he's talented!
I thought he's drawing were very neat, of course more practice will make him a better artist. As for the school, it all really depends on how he spends his time i guess, PRACTICE!

he's 16 and I'm his older bro. I really care about his drawing since I dont have the ability to draw and I love those pictures. I wish I could do that. We share the same passion to Animation.

excellent, congretulate him on his achievement so far and encourage him to work extra hard and practice. he's really great!
and as for you! i am sure u can do it too, it's all about pratice, training ur eye to observe, coz it's really all about drawing what you see. there is no mystery!
