Im certain we can all agree that all the software we use is merely a tool we use to create what we'd like?, And with tool's comes our favorite word. Technique. Like mastering how to drive a 1/2" Screw into a piece of wood with a Screwgun with out spliting the wood, and knowing where the grain is going and where the knots are, We must master the software to and know eevr inch of it, and more specificaly, Whats where, and how to use it to get what you want.

Enough of my introduction speech haha, My names Mike, im 16 and I live in West Palm beach florida, I started working with 3ds Max and Photoshop about 3 years ago. Its a hobby for me, but every day I see work from artists that I belive is incredible, for example work from Marek Denko, and Andre P.J Cantarel, Literaly turning a box into a real picture.

Now my question is with Edges, I know that in the real world it is near imposible to find an object with as sharp an edge as max gives it, but I've been having problems, In 3ds max how do I model, a model that has complex hard and sharp turns like Aircraft wings in its basic design, with smooth edges, and not having things mess up edge wise in 'Edit Poly" mode.

The technique is what im looking for, and ive opened max about 6 times now and took box's and planes and tried all sorts of things and I still cant figure it out.

Can anyone also link me to a tutorial that might point me in a good direction?

Thanks, Mike.
