View Full Version : Constraint Problem
Bluemilk 05-19-2003, 12:47 AM Hi
Its not really a problem with constraints only a problem coz i dont know how to use them. Ok, when i want say a box to move along a path i would slap a path constraint on and attach to the spline/path. Thats all well and good but what if the spline goes round a corner, the box doesnt follow the direction of the spline, it goes round it but doesnt rotate round if you see what i mean. I want it to follow the curve so that the box will change direction with that path not just stay in world space.
I hope this makes sense.
Any help would be appreciated

LOL!
You cannot waste my time. I answer questions because I want to, if I had no time, you wouldn't see me around ;)
There are so many controls in Max that it is possible to overlook many of them, especially when looking for them for the first time.
Everybody started from zero at a certain point. I was lucky to start with Max 1.0 back in 1996, some things have become part of me since then (I have checkboxes floating in my blood, and my left brain hemisphere is full of MAXScript) ;) But this does not make me a Marvel Comics figure...
Anyway, thanks for the kind words, and keep on Maxing!
