Title: Omhi
Name: Lauren K. Cannon
Country: USA
Software: Painter, Photoshop

Omhi of the Dhuriiehm.

Sorry it’s another portrait. I’m trying to knock out a bunch of WIPs I’ve had lying around for ages. Used Painter a lot more than I have been for this one, too. I’m getting more comfortable with achieving details and such in the program. (Of course, I spent hours painting the chains and they're barely visible at this resolution... bugger.)

Painter and Photoshop. Crits welcome. Thanks for looking. :)

Great skin tones Lauren. Why the apologies for another portrait though? They just get better and better. I'll get the magnifier out for the chains.
So which are your favourite tools in Painter then?
For me it's the oil pastels and tinting brushes. It's a given that most of us like the 'just add water' isn't it?

All the best,
Nick

Wow, Lauren, this is absolutely gorgeous. I think that you progress so much lately (both in terms of composition and technical execution) - each next piece seems to be better than the last. I love the way you designed the character's clothing - it's so bold. It was really really worth it to spend so much time on those chains. Also, I am absolutely impressed about the way you textured his skin. The veiny texture around his mouth is gorgeous and adds the image so much narrative quality. Total 5* from me, I really enjoy your paintings.
