Oke guys...listen up.
I have a helicopter that has to fly.
Now i want the blades to rotate constantly.
I know how to do it in max 4, but now in max 5 i don't get it done.

In max 4 you simply set the timeline on 10 (or whatever) and rotate the wheel 360 degrees.
Then in the trackview select "rotation" under the name from the wheel that has to be rotated.
Then select parameter "curve out-of-range type, activate "cycle" and press ok.

But with max 5 i can't select that "curve out-of-range typ" icon.
I tried to find it in the curves submenu but i only see the choise "ease curve out-or-range type", and that function is not even choosable.

my school teacher doesn't have the answer for me...he's a NOOB!
Please tell me what i have to do, please!

(sorry for my poor englisch)

The default controller for rotations in max 5 is Euler_XYZ.
You have to select the respective substrack (most probably Z in your case) and the Parameter Curve Out-Of-Range Type icons will become enabled. You cannot set ORT for the master Euler_XYZ, just for its children separately, that's why it is greyed out.

And, btw, your English is good!

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Bobo
