View Full Version : What's the maxscript equiv. for shift-dragging edges ?

I need a script to 'extrude' edges in the z axis... the extrude button within editable poly extrudes along the normal so that's no good... but I can't work out the maxscript for when you shift drag your selected edges.

The listener shows "move $.selectedEdges [0,0,####]" when you are doing the copy, but it disappears as soon as you finish extruding the edges... and if you use this maxscript it only moves the edges.

No suggestions? I really need to know if its possible or not, before a manually go through 1000+ objects :(
