An other class project. We had to create a commercial for a product. Our target was to create a realistic rendering. I thought it would me easy as I had some experience from architecture but I was wrong. Creating a product for commercial with right lightning and texturing is not as easy as it looked. I spent the most time on creating the right texturing an especially to create the seams.
I used 3ds Max, mental ray and Photoshop.

I like this details you broought into this
shoe. Maybe the background is a little
bit boring. (I thought of placeing it in some
cold snow landscape or something like that)
Your textures are great too!

How did you make the tension wiring in the boot? That looks fantastic, things like wires, especially those kind of wires, are really difficult for me to make and you nailed it.

Very very good work, especially for a class project. The work on the textures paid off, and the lighting is great for this style of catalogue work.

How did you make the tension wiring in the boot? That looks fantastic, things like wires, especially those kind of wires, are really difficult for me to make and you nailed it.

The wires are simple beziere splines. I used a reflective material with some noise for bumpmap.
