hello,

i've setup a car in 3ds max 5.1 and reactor.

my problem is, the reactor constraints (point to point) seam to be unable to hold the objects they are bound to exactly in place. the wheels for example have from time to time some strange rotational effects. i've set the constraints strength to 450. more is not possible, because the car dissappears if i do so.

i'd be very greatful for any explanation on this problem

Howdy !

Im not sure i understand you alright, you have set up a car using Reactor constraints, is that it ? So you've been trying to lock your wheels on the chassis by using point to point and suchs ?
What i would say, even if it sure is not the best around, is use the Toy car; Reactor has that built-in, lets you define geometry for the chasis and each wheels, which will rotate along with the car moving, pretty straightforward kind of stuff...
I think it might be better this way, and since it's there !
