CGTalk - Day for Night help

Hey all,

Does anyone have any tips for doing the "day for night" technique?

I'm embarking on a short film, set in the wilderness at night, and it's just impossible to light it when it is really night time.

Any help would be great.

i hope it s not too late

You have to shoot it by day (dawn or dusk with no sun will be better)
the director of photography can add some filter on the camera to reduce the amount of light. You can tweak in post with colour grading.

what kind of area will it be (city/forrest/desert)?
