Title: Luftwaffles Cast
Name: William Barr
Country: United Kingdom
Software: After Effects, Maya, Photoshop

This is the cast from my short film, Luftwaffles, a student major project I undertook here at Swansea Metropolitan Uni.
-
To make the film I used Maya to model, rig & animate plus After Effects to composite everything together. I also used Photoshop to paint the textures and backdrops.

I liked the short, but you really need to put some eye lids on those characters and use them. They are very creepy looking. It works at times for the short considering the idea is kind of out there, but they look a little crazy...

Good job though, it was entertaining!

i just saw your short in youtube and i lol'd, i say its perfect just the way it is but what threw me off at first was the kid's huge head, i thought he was a midget.. (sorry, little person)
i liked the dark humor:twisted:, great job

Cheers guys, glad you liked the short. I agree that their eyes do at times make the characters look a little crazy Michael, although that was intentional as I thought it complemented the humour of the film. I donno, people may or may not get it, but I’m glad to hear you enjoyed the rest of it. As for Octostatue, thanks, now I can’t look at my kid character without thinking he’s a “little person...” lol, I can see where the misunderstanding can come from, although, again, I’m glad you enjoyed it regardless of my fat headed child! Cheers guys!
