Im currently in the process of modeling a car entirely in nurbs and I'm having troubles creating the edges between the different car panels. I found an example where they created the edges using a perpendicular plane and then circular filleting ( http://www.gmask.com/tutorials/wrx_tutorial/Tutorial/pages/book_pages/Book082.shtml ) but the method he uses to make the plane perpendicular (extruding an isoparm in the -z and -y directions) does not make the plane truely perpendicular, not even close in some cases. Does anyone know of a way to extrude an isoparm such that it follows the surfaces normal lines more accurately? Or if anyone else has a better method of making the edges between the panels I would really appreciate it. Making these edges is becoming surprisingly difficult and I would really appreciate anyone's help.
