Is there a link to a version that doesn't kill Firefox (in WinXP)? AKA, not quicktime.

Hey, you're saying that I'm not the only one that gets crashes with FireFox when trying to view Quicktime stuff? I thought it was some bug or something that had to do with my Firefox installation, glad to know its not only me.

Looks rather promising IMHO - which would be good considering the fact he hasn't got anything quite right since 'Sixth sense'.
That aside, this line was unintentionally hilarious:
"There appears to be an event happening!"
Now, english isn't my first language, but seriously... what kind of a stupid sentence is that? :argh:

That looks like a great movie, I have appreciated the trailer. One thing I don't like is not knowing what are the antagonists of the story. It looks too suspenseful and unrevealant.

There's a negative review up already, linked from Ain't It Cool. Yes, I thought the trailer and premise looked EXTREMELY interesting, on par with "Signs" (which, regardless of what others though, I found to be very entertaining and frightening). However, this review paints a very bad picture and states he thought this movie is actually WORSE than "Lady in the Water." From accidentally reading the major plot "twist" from a talkbacker on AICN, it does sound pretty retarded actually and made me laugh.
Again, this review contains the major plot "twist" (in invisi-text) so BE WARNED!

i think it may be something like "The Village", you think you're watching some story line and ends with something totally different, i think is his style but who knows, maybe the Aliens are coming.

after signs and LITW, im not to bothered if I see anymore of his films.
I quite like his style of direction though, reminds me of Spielberg, but Im not keen on his writing skills anymore, seems to have lost the plot (pun intended)

My Firefoxused to crash. I had to manually tell it to upgrade Quicktime and that fixed it.
I didn't like Lady in the Water at all, but I enjoyed his other films and this looks interesing. Hopefully he'll redeem himself with this.

Didn't hear anything about this movie until today. I just watched the extended clip that Aint It Cool News mentions.
From what little I saw, they are right, Mark Walhberg's performance seems really awful.
Not a big M. Night fan, and I'm not sure anyone is as big a fan of him as he is of himself, but I did like UNBREAKABLE. Early indications are he may have another stinker on his hands, but it's still a bit too early to tell.

I have this problem as well, I was able to fix it by disabling DirectX and having Quicktime in safemode (this can be done under the "Advanced" tab in the Quicktime prefs).
Hope that helps

I read the twist becuase I knew I was never going to watch this movie.
This is the most riduculous thing I have ever heard in my life. IMO This guy is getting on Uwe Boll's level of film making.

Completely agree. I never really liked any of his films though except for Unbreakable, but he just keeps getting worse and worse. The only possible reason his "twists" are "shocking" is because they're so outlandishly stupid that no one with any sense of reason would consider them in the first place.
Yet another movie to skip for me. I might watch it when it becomes on of those late night movies on TV when nothing better's on.
