I really like how it looks right now how it is fading from the less detailed sketch to the very well done and detailed head. You are very talented my friend! :eek:

The lion hair is built line by line.And I did it directly on my computer with my graphic tablet(after I scanned contoured head from paper).
It is indeed time consuming but I think it deservs the effort.

My graphic tablet is a Wacom Graphire 2 and the software is Adobe Photoshop 7.
And about the time,I don't know precisely how much because I work now and then when I'm in the mood and most important when I have some spare time from work.But a lot anyway because I don't have really a model and almost everything is from imagination and often happens to delete some fur layers I don't like anymore and start once again.

And I have something to ask:I don't know how this thread got here at 3D Art and Architectural Visualisation when it should have been at WIP:2D,Digital illustraton and concept art.
