Sk-Heretic 05-17-2003, 07:58 PM seems the moderators may have taken my last post about this the wrong way Im not asking for copies im asking for legits. anyone willing could you please donate some gnomon or 3ds max training vids for a good cause and someone in need. the someone being me. I seriously doubt this will do any good o well gotta try. i know im going to be told get a job and buy your own you bumb. I have a job i work at pizza restuarant im 17 and only make 5.40 and hour. barely enough to pay what few bills i have.
anyone willing to donate send me a pm, all donations will be beyond greatly appreciated.

i already have those vids they do not cover techniques like gnomon or 3ds max training vids. Im specifically after the ones that cover nurbs and sub-d .

well if u read above i work at a pizza restuarant after i bought max i was broke then i bought a car 2 weeks ago. so yup now i u can basically say im financially shot untill i get a better job. and on the tip of virginia rural as hell.

buy all the training vids n crap u want, but the real way to learn is to simply use the software ALOT. set yourself some projects and work on them every day for a few hours. training vids etc can help speed things up but are by no means the only way to learn.
and some advice on using max: don't bother with nurbs, they aren't worth the trouble in max. and as far as "sub-d" goes (i assume u mean poly modeling, perhaps with meshsmooth) there are a ton of tuts floating around on the net and there are numerous tuts that ship with max. just take the time to go through them all :)
practice, practice, practice...thats the only way to learn
