This is a cover illustration for "Controlled Collapse" techno project.

On the technical side, this are some simple nurbs objects (maya),
and quite a lot of post work in PS ;)
C&C welcome.

Final version of the cover, with typography and all will follow in
near future, but I consider illustration finished.

I really like the depth and balance of the piece. It looks great! I also like the industrial structures and gritty sky. Nice job!

I really like this, until I look at the ground...
It seems to me that the textures don't follow the perspective of the surface, and it doesn't look like dirt or ground, but moreso it looks like thin paper... I like the idea of seeing an understructure, but the way it is now bothers me also.
Not to be a downer, though... I very much like the piece, and will keep an eye out for a copy!

Very interesting composition. I like the mood + color you have going on. I seem to have some problem with its scale.....from the way you show the structure, it looks like it should be massive but something about it suggests otherwise....specifically the environment surrounding it.

overall, u got a great moody piece.

Thanks guys for your comments  Much appreciated

William b. Hand I think I see what You mean.... will give the ground second look ;)

katon To be honest, I don't know what these structures are.... something like that just came to my mind when I was listening the music samples... probably these devices are somewhat connected with sound ;)

Phattro That is probably also due to "ground" material... hopefully I'll correct that.

Updated it a bit, mainly ground... it's less bumpy now, and bit thicker .... better?

I think the econd one does look better but there is one thing that is kind of annoying me. The background is really cool, I luv the texture.. but I don't think it goes with the foreground. As in the freground looks outside and the background looks indoors. Colors and design is really awesome though
