Title: Cathedral of Light
Name: Vaclav Mazany
Country: Czech Republic
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop

This is a quite old project. First it was made as a school project, but then, it ended more as my own personal one. Modeled completely with 3DsMax and textured with Photoshop.
It doesn't have any special meaning, if I can remember. I just wanted to make a atmosphere of enlighted, sort of demonic, cathedral. Tell me, if it enwokes anything to you. Comments are welcome.

Good, may be you can post more about this work caus the details looks very good. I think you can make a better scene with all the good modeling.

I did this couple years ago, but I think I can recall "how I did it".
The main part, wasn't the modeling, but the postprocess after the rendering. You can see it in the attached 2nd image - there's smaller version of the final image, without the postprocess. I used photoshop to tweak colours, added slight DOF, and sharpen the image a bit. It was made this way, mainly because I didn't have any computer, that was so fast, that I could tweak it, in that time, other thing was, that I was in the process of learning such things :) so it was a lot easier for me to tweak it in photoshop. I've also added details, and screenshot from 3DsMax in the attached 1st image
Every time I see it, I see a lot things I would do a different way :) a lot of mistakes etc. but I was also very curious, if there's someone, who might like it.
