Looks interesting!

I avoid default point helpers for rig parts which get keys, as pressing "J" for key brackets shows horrible big brackets for keyframes of point helpers - But this doesn't!
So far i've used splines or turned meshes into "cages" with wire material, so this one could be useful addition to toolset!
