For us dim-witted, non-programmer artists, could you give us an example as to how such a preset could be used in a project?

One example would be to restrict a Hierarchy iterator to objects with specific names.
You will find an example using the "Find String" preset Here (http://www.bonkers.de/download/xp_findstring.zip)
The moment you rename a child of the cube so it containes a lower case i it will be displayed in red.

The only way I was able to get any of the objects other than the cylinder. disk and tetrahedron to change color was to add a wire to string 2 on the find string node. Changing names of the children to lower case didnt change anything in the editor view.

You had to include the character "i" in the childs name.
